Development Update 11 September 2017
We are pleased to announce 150 more car parks are now available at Newmarket Village with opening the new mezzanine level on the left-hand side off Newmarket Road.
Development Update 28 August 2017
The installation of escalators are due to be completed Monday 28th – Wednesday 30th August. During these works the car parks underneath Newmarket Hotel and Grill’d will be closed for crane and equipment use. We expect there to be minimal disruption, due to the opening of the new carpark area.

Development Update 24 July 2017
Please be advised we will be commencing an upgrade of the public amenities, located next to the old Centre Management, from Monday 24th July 2017.
These works will take from 4-6 weeks to complete. During this time, please use the amenities on Level 1.

Development Update 13 July 2017.
Please be advised that both mezzanine levels of the Centre car park will be closed for approximately three weeks in order to fast track the completion of the car park area.
This is to ensure tenants and customers are provided with more carparks leading up to the completion of the development.
The walkway from Edmondstone Street will be closed from early next week for works for approximately two weeks.
A temporary walkway has been established under the new mezzanine car park from the BWS entry which will allow customers and staff to still move through this area.

Development Update 30 May 2017.
We wish to advise that due to the next stage of the development works, the staircase outside of Australia Post will be decommissioned. You can still access level 1 via the adjacent lift or staircase near Coles.
We thank you for your patience during this time and look forward to launching the exciting new Cinema and dining precinct later this year.
Development Update 22nd May 2017.
We wish to advise that as of Monday 22 May, the Stage 1 carpark will be reopened, with access only from Newmarket Road.
Stage 2 (carpark near BWS) will be closed until late August 2017 due to works commencing. BWS Bottle Shop will trade as usual with the only access from Edmondstone Street.

Development Update 28th Febraury 2017.
We wish to advise that due to development works there will be restricted undercover parking until Friday 3rd March. While this section of the car park is closed, there will be traffic controllers on site from 8am to 9pm each day to direct traffic. We understand this is an inconvenience and we thank you for your patience.
Development Update September 2016
Reading Newmarket will soon be fitted out with a state-of-the-art Reading Cinema and a new dining precinct featuring approximately 900sqm of new food and beverage retail offerings.
Coinciding with the redevelopment’s emphasis on delivering greater benefit to the community, Reading Newmarket has recently rebranded to ‘Newmarket Village’.
Newmarket Village, anchored by a Coles Supermarket, the Newmarket Hotel and 35 other specialty tenants, is now under redevelopment, with the planned works including new destination offerings, enhanced shopping centre amenities and an additional 170 new car parks.
Matthew Bourke, Managing Director - Real Estate Australia & New Zealand, said the development of an eight screen Reading Cinema and dining precinct is expected to breathe new life into the centre.
“With the re-imagined Newmarket Village, we anticipate engaging with the surrounding neighbourhoods to create more of a ‘sense of place’ for our visitors,” Mr Bourke said.
“By enhancing the centre, our goal is that Newmarket Village will become a destination for casual dining and entertainment in the area.”
Hutchinson Builders has commenced stage one works with the redevelopment expected to conclude by December 2017. The first milestone will be the installation of a hoarding wall, including wayfinding signage to minimise the impact on existing shoppers and retailers.
